The referendum has caused huge uncertainty for UK citizens living in the EU. Our rights to live, work and study in our adopted countries and to travel to and work in neighbouring countries freely depend on the UK's EU membership and our EU citizenship.
When the UK ceases to be a member of the EU, we will lose our EU citizenship.
If there is a deal we cease to be EU citizens but we retain some of our existing rights
If there is no deal we cease to be EU citizens and lose our rights protected by the EU.
On Brexit day we become 3rd country nationals and lose many of our day to day rights.
We need these rights to continue our lives as before.
Many of us didn't even have a vote when the referendum was held!
