RIFT Pays de Loire is a regional group covering five departments: Loire-Atlantique (44), Maine-et-Loire (49), Mayenne (53), Sarthe (72) and Vendée (85). Membership is open to all living in this region or about to land and whose rights are directly impacted by the Withdrawal Agreement. The group has the primary intention of bringing members into social contact with each other. The idea is to relieve some of the stress that the UK’s exit from the EU is causing by sharing local experience and support with other members, especially those who may feel isolated. With the current states of isolation on both sides of The Channel we would encourage everyone to keep up to date with official sources of information, from government sources, from préfecttucres and your mairies. There is plenty of political backstabbing and blame gaming in the media and on social media, unnecessarily heightening the stress for many. Do however feel free to ask questions and ask for verifiable sources wherever possible. The link for extensive information from the French government is given below.
