Our 2nd Application Survey

In January 2021 Remain in France Together (RIFT) conducted a short survey to take a snapshot of the position regarding applications by UK passport holders, and their qualifying family, who were living in France by 31 December 2020.

You can read about the last survey here and review the results here.

The online application system closes on 30 June 2021, and as of today, 31 March 2021, there remains 91 days for UK passport holders and their qualifying family to apply for their Withdrawal Agreement Residency Permit (WA RP). To find our more about applying, please read our guide.

The new system has been live for over 5 months and there are 3 months left in which to apply and so today we launch our second survey.

As with the first survey, the aim of the survey is to gauge what percentage of UK passport holders and their family members have or haven’t applied and to identify any trends which are emerging regarding timescales, documents required etc.

The survey is open to all UK passport holders, their partners and dependants who live in France and are afforded the protection of the Withdrawal Agreement.

Please complete it whether or not you’ve completed your application and whether or not you completed the survey in January 2021.

Please share the survey link with relevant friends and family who live in France.

The survey will run from 31 March 2021 to 10 April 2021

We will publish an analysis of the responses on or before 19 April 2021

It would have been reassuring to know how the WARP appointments are organised. They are not alphabetical, dependent on when one applied or where you live..And when with two people in one household one has a RDV the other has not heard as yet you do begin to worry.

Thanks Claire. Somewhat reassuring to hear that but also somewhat ironical to know that some of us who applied last year after waiting so long to be able to do so and then dutifully complying before the December deadline have got caught up in a bureaucratic snafu. I wait in hope but will contact Nimes if I do not hear in the next week.

Regards

Mary
