In October 2019 RIFTers took part in The People’s Vote march in London.
The People’s Vote march attracted over 1 million participants. Many RIFTers met up with friends and family to join in the march. Others met and marched together. We took along our Europeans United banner which held the names of over 900 RIFTers who couldn't make the march. As a group, we met at Hyde Park Corners and joined the march at 11.30. We reached Trafalgar Square at about 16.30. We were unable to get through the huge crowd to get to Parliament Square. The MET police opened a gate into Horse Guards Parade around that time, to alleviate the crush of people, there were so many!
