Following our successful rally in Bergerac on 7th September, designed to coincide with similar protests taking place in the UK and elsewhere in Europe, we managed to raise awareness in our communities of the difficulties faced by UK residents in France with coverage on local TV, radio and press.

As a region with a higher concentration of citizens of British origin than many, we aim to provide support, and advice where possible. Many people commented that it was helpful and mutually supportive to join together in our protest. Perhaps we should be planning another!
